I was born in South Amboy, New Jersey, graduated from High School in 1957, and from UNO (college) in 1963 and from Southern Illinois University in 1974.
I joined the Air Force, in Newark, NJ, because the Draft was going to get me, so I joined the Air Force, which was the best thing I ever did.
I was a Captain (O-3) when I flew AC-119s from March 1969 to March 1970 and again from December 1970 to June 1971. During those tours I was awarded two Distinguished Flying Cross and 13 Air Medals.
I separated from the Air Force at Dover AFB, Delaware and I am currently the Director of Training for Flight Safety; Advisor to Royal Saudi Air Force.
My child is Rhett Reess and my Grandchild is Adam Ogden.
